Towards a cooler planet
We're proud to partner with CarbonClick to include high quality, transparent carbon offsetting in our climate action initiative
We're seeking a better future.
AI brings a lot of opportunities; but it also comes with an environmental cost.
So while we’re building something powerful and valuable, we also need to be frank about our impact and do what we can to reduce it. With CarbonClick, we do this in a way that’s simple, meaningful and transparent. Together we are funding climate projects that do lots of good things for planet and people.

How are we dealing with emissions?
Yonder and TOMIS include carbon offsetting in our climate action toolbox to reduce the impact of our team, and the businesses we support through our AI tech.
It funds initiatives that reduce or remove atmospheric carbon emissions, including native reforestation and peatland protection. This helps us create a positive impact on the planet, wildlife, and indigenous communities.

Native forests and peatlands play a crucial role in carbon sequestration
Native forests absorb large amounts of carbon dioxide (CO₂) from the atmosphere through photosynthesis, storing it in tree biomass and soils. These ecosystems are rich in biodiversity and resilient, making them long-term carbon sinks when undisturbed.
Peatlands, though covering only about 3% of the Earth’s land surface, store over twice as much carbon as all the world’s forests combined while providing critical habitats for endangered species.
They accumulate carbon slowly over thousands of years in waterlogged, low-oxygen conditions that prevent organic matter from decomposing. When intact, peatlands are highly effective at trapping carbon; however, if drained or degraded, they become significant carbon sources.
Protecting and restoring both native forests and peatlands is essential for reducing global greenhouse gas emissions and achieving climate targets.
We want to do something good for our local communities, but we also know climate change is a global issue. That’s why we support the highest quality carbon offsetting projects we can, both locally and internationally.
